The Reassurance Network completed crucial strategy-based projects for CBRE - the world's leading real estate advisor.

We worked with CBRE to help it develop an advanced and integrated approach to corporate responsibility. We did this through extensive strategic review and policy development planning.

Firstly, we undertook an external review - benchmarking CBRE against sector competitors as well as sustainability leaders from other industries; analysing public and private sector markets with regards to corporate responsibility and addressing the relevant position of investors and investment institutions.

Secondly, we completed an internal review - establishing a good understanding of where CBRE currently stood with regards to its CR. We looked at its approach; highlighted strengths and weaknesses; identified opportunities and then finally suggested a range of strategy proposals to improve its CR position.

The main areas we covered with CBRE were: governance; environment; employment; health & safety; business ethics; responsibility to stakeholders; disclosure and communication. We took a business-based approach to the review, in order to help CBRE understand and embed these key corporate responsibility areas into the core of its business.
