European Lotteries

The European State Lottery and Toto Association (EL) is an industry organisation, founded in 1999 to promote cooperation between European Lotteries. The Reassurance Network was involved in two important pieces of work for EL to help ensure that standards of responsible gaming were upheld in lotteries across the continent.

Firstly, the Reassurance Network was given the task of writing the Assessment Framework; outlining how a lottery should be assessed against the EL Responsible Gaming Standard. We then advised the EL on the process and rules by which an independent certifying agency could be selected and approved to assess lotteries.
