Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA)

The GLA is a UK government body set up to protect workers employed through employment agencies. The GLA asked The Reassurance Network to be one of a very small group of organisations to participate in a pilot scheme, testing its audit framework which is now used to verify the ethical standards of UK labour suppliers in the food and agricultural sectors. We worked closely with the GLA, helping to shape the standard and the methods used to assess employment agencies.
