Carbon Neutral

The term carbon neutral refers to companies or entities that do not, on balance emit carbon. This is not to say that they do not emit carbon 'full stop' (as this is near impossible) it is just to say that the net effect of the company is not negative. It is therefore possible to become carbon neutral through 'Carbon Offsetting'- balancing harmful emissions out, with projects that take-in carbon.
