Direct Energy Consumption / Direct GHG Emissions

Direct Energy Consumption / Direct GHG Emissions

As an almost necessary part of an environmental management system or reporting practice, a business will have to monitor and record their direct energy consumption and direct GHG emissions.

Direct energy consumption and GHG emissions refer to the burning of fossil fuels 'directly' or onsite. An example of this would be a boiler that burns gas for heating of a building.
