ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governmental. This acronym refers to what many consider to be the 3 main pillars of corporate responsibility. In short the 3 areas are seen as the areas in which a company should behave responsibly- by managing its environmental impact, its social impact and also the way it governs its employees and strategy.
