UN Declaration of Human Rights

The UN Universal declaration of Human Rights is the definitive international agreement on human rights. Adopted in 1948, the declaration has been the benchmark in human rights and today still acts as a foundation to many human rights standards and guidelines. It is made up of 30 articles and stipulates such fundamental rights as the rights to life, equality and liberty.
