The importance of good business ethics in a company cannot be underestimated; however it is not always easy for businesses to understand how compliant their employees are. At The Reassurance Network we can help assess the culture of a business and work with companies to develop a 'culture of compliance'.
While it is clearly important to have well-established and clear ethics through Codes of Conduct and policies, it is equally important to have a culture that supports and promotes ethical and legal behaviours, even when under commercial pressure. Businesses must credibly convey the message internally and externally that ethics sit at the core of their business practices.
We assess the prevailing levels of compliance and risk across the business based on a combination of systems review and confidential engagement; reporting back on areas of policy, business or geographical region that may need special attention.
This review of business culture is designed to support the more established reviews of systems and controls, providing essential information on levels of risk which can be used to direct resources to where they are needed most.
