Malcolm Guy

Malcolm has a passion for innovation and improvement, providing challenge and practical support to help clients manage their corporate responsibilities more effectively. He has worked in over twenty countries to improve and assure responsible business practices for some of the world's leading companies, bringing a combination of creativity and practical experience to provide fresh thinking and new approaches. He started his career as a production manager, driving modernisation and culture change over a ten-year period for Fosters Brewing. In 1993 he became the global quality manager for The Body Shop International where he provided support for community trade partners and helped develop some of the first ethical supply chain standards.

He formed The Reassurance Network in 2003 to provide an alternative to the mainstream mechanistic approach to assurance, recognising the potential for independent challenge to catalyse improvement. Since then, the network has developed to provide a wide range of Corporate Responsibility and Ethical Supply Chain support across a number of sectors. One of Malcolm's strengths is his desire to treat every client individually, with a friendly and personal approach. As well as working for blue-chip clients, he has undertaken a number of very rewarding operational support programmes, working closely with small producers and fair trade organisations in India, Indonesia, Cambodia and Bangladesh.

He currently sits on the SEDEX Associate Auditors Group and the World Lottery Association Responsible Gaming Panel.
